JEE MAINS An entrance examination for admission in engineering colleges across India.
Purpose of Examination:
To identify talented students for Undergraduate Engineering Programs at NITs, IIITs, other centrally funded Technical Institutions, Institutions funded by several participating State Governments, and several other Institutions.
Notification
Notification comes normally in the month of November. Application form is normally filed in the month of December.
EXAMINATION TIME
Normally in the month of APRIL for both offline and online examination.
Result
Result is normally declared in the month of May.
Exam Pattern
- PAPER 1: For B.E/B.Tech
- PAPER 2: For B.Arch./B.Planning
3 Hour Objective Type Exam with 30 question each from Physics ,Chemistry and Mathematics 1/4 negative marking Mode of Exam:- Pen and Paper based Exam OR Computer based Exam
- Mathematics :objective type
- Mode of Exam:- only Pen and Paper based Exam
Aptitude test : objective type Drawing Test : Question to test drawing aptitude
